We now serve the Lord as Foursquare Missions International (FMI) 'Emissary' missionaries in the South Pacific. Based in Deer Park Washington, we travel to the South Pacific Region to provide discipleship training, pastoral care and medical outreach to national leaders and missionaries.
In FMI's efforts to mobilize more people for global mission they have created a new category of mission worker designated, 'FMI Emissary.' The main definition for Emissary is a 'representative sent on a mission.' An FMI Emissary will be FMI appointed, Foursquare licensed, US Based Foursquare leaders/Pastors who have ongoing ministry roles within certain nations, regions, people groups that help advance the great commission through Foursquare Missiology.
The Foursquare church's in the South Pacific islands are sending out their own missionaries. As a result, the islands are exploding with new believers. We have been given the task to come along side our National Missionaries and Leaders and assist them in equipping, encouragement, and leadership training. This enables them to carry out the great commission in their own and similar cultures and settings. We understand that the remoteness of these places makes it very difficult for our pastors to get the care and training they need to optimize their own spiritual growth. Our job is to give them a 'leg up' and mobilize these precious leaders as they are in the forefront of winning the South Pacific nations to Christ.
We have served as FMI Missions Associates in Papua New Guinea for 5 + years. We have provided leadership training, served as the PNG Islands Regional Supervisor as well as pioneering a Bible school. In addition, Cindy who is an RN has served for the last ten years doing medical evangelism and working in clinics in refugee camps. She has also provided emergency medical care during natural and man made disasters in Africa and Asia.
